Name: Anonymous on May 16, 2012Comments: I consider the current anime to be mockery and a disgrace to the franchise. It has stuck the "for small kids" tag onto Pokemon as a whole since the beginning. However, an alternate anime that actually stays true to the games and has a serious and more mature approach would be something quite interesting. As long as it wasn't stretched over hundreds of boring contrived episodes with nothing actually happening, and instead featured some at least slightly applicable and intelligent strategies (not trainers calling out to their pokemon to avoid incoming attacks or beams colliding and creating silly explosions and huge clouds of smoke all the damn time). Just don't even mention Ash and its freaking Pikachu or anything else from the current anime in it (not to mention the awful concept of pokemon calling out their names) for the love of Arceus.Flag
