The Alonzo A. Daughtry Memorial Day Care Center, Inc. with a 44 year history of providing early childhood education, denounces the illegal actions taken by ACS. The agency is attempting to stop the day care center from becoming an awardee of the EarlyLearn NYC RFP by lowering their scores from above 80 to 66. Their program is being awarded to another group as of 9/28/12.
ACS workers have come forward and made formal complaints to The Department of Investigation giving solid evidence that proves ACS acted illegally by tampering with the scoring process and many day care programs in our city are being affected. This has been reported to DOI BUT THESE REPORTS ARE NOT BEING INVESTIGATED.
