This petition by we the undersigned is to express our dissatisfaction with the FIA on their decision not to further penalize the Ferrari team following the "team orders" incident at Hockenheim on July 25th. As fans, we feel we can reasonably expect that if teams break the rules as they are currently set, that they will not, in the spirit of fair play, gain a significant advantage from this. The current situation is that Fernando Alonso is currently leading the F1 World Championship with one race to go, and a lead of only 8 points. Hockenheim gave him an advantage of an additional 7 points to what his score would otherwise have been, and we feel this to be unfair.
