   Comments: I have a disdain for any public board or committee that does not comply with proper procedures. The voters should have an oportunity to decide whether to have additional School Board members elected, with the appropriate stipends applicable to the other current School Board members. The proposed warrant article should have in its motion's language to approve and move to the warrant article, the amount to be appropriated for the stipends, for the voters to approve the article or not.

    Comments: I support expanding the school board to 7 members. This was done on the town council, due to the number of residents and the complexity of the decisions being made. As witnessed with the initiatives taken place, we constantly hear some of the current members stating they haven't had the time to contemplate issues to render decisions, even though three or more weeks had passed from the when the issue was introduced. Adding two more members offers more resources to lessen that burden and to allow more informed decisions to be made.
