Name: Jennifer Cubillos on Jun 4, 2007Comments: I completely agree. I have been a supporter of this for years. I would love to be able to take my dog to the beach. I as well feel like my dog is my companion and hate the fact that they are restricted from a part of nature that I love and i know they love. Dogs love to swim. If the owners can be responsible in parks, i don't see why they wouldn't be responsible at the beach. And if owners are responsible I don't see why dogs should not be allowed on the beach.Flag

Name: Abigail Burdick Morton on Feb 1, 2013Comments: I have grown up in South Florida and for many years there were "dog friendly" beaches. Where have they all gone? Now I have to travel from south WPB to Jupiter to take my (recently rescued) Golden to the beach. She loves the water and swimming is such good excercise for our canine companions. She tries to go in the Intracoastal by my home, but the road is too close to allow her "off leash". I really would like to support the return of dog beaches to my area. How can I help?Flag
