NECA (National Entertainment Collectables Association), have been making licensed Godzilla figures. What makes them great is that their detailed, articulated, and easily affordable. It's their selling point and is what makes customers happy.

But there is a disappointing truth behind it all, TOHO only gave NECA the rights to make figures of Godzilla ONLY, so NECA won't be making any other monsters from the Godzilla franchise at all. So you can say goodbye to a detailed and articulated MUTO figure. Also, must I mention TOHO is the one who chooses which version of Godzilla NECA makes a figure out of. So you can say goodbye to versions of Godzilla that haven't had a figure yet including: MARVEL Godzilla and Hanna Barbera Godzilla (which was both planned at one point but was canceled). If you want proof, just ask NECA or look at previous tweets on Twitter.

Since when it was appealing to only have Godzilla in a line of toys that's based off the franchise? Especially ones made and designed for collectors? Would it really hurt to have a figure of just one monster from the Godzilla franchise that isn't Godzilla? If a company like Kaiyodo (The inventors of Revoltech) was able to make multiple figures of monsters from the Godzilla franchise, why can't NECA? If TOHO gives NECA the rights to other Godzilla monsters, I'm positive that sales would go up because it is what customers would want.
