Current zoning regulations in Cobleskill,NY prohibit keeping goats. I will be taking this petition to the zoning board and fighting to change this regulation. Goats are currently legal to keep in San Diego, Kansas City, Seattle and many other major cities with minimal issues.  If goats are made legal in Cobleskill, they would still be covered under nuisance laws, protecting neighbors from overwhelming noise, or odor.  Sign this petition, letting the zoning board know that you support residential properties in the village having goats, with the stipulation of keeping no more than 3 goats, only female or wethered male goats, and a minimum of two.
