We, the undersigned being residents of Candle Lake and property owners or property renters wish to have the Council of the Resort Village of Candle Lake reconsider their decision regarding the location of the farmers market. The farmers market provides our community with a choice of fresh vegetables, fresh baking, a choice of frozen meats and dairy products such as eggs, etc. We feel that until a suitable location for the market is agreed upon by all parties and a proper site is prepared that meet their needs (such as shade, adequate parking, signage, etc.) that they be allowed to remain on Main Street where it has been for the last 3-5 years.
