An increasingly large number of music consumers listen on streaming platforms such as Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music and Rhapsody.

The Chicago record label Drag City Records currently does not allow its catalogue on streaming services.

This shuts out talented artists from additional revenue, as well as platform to gain more fans and listeners who would attend their live shows.

We want these artists to have the same chance at exposure as everyone else and gain another means of supporting themselves financially so they can keep doing what they love.

This could also encourage other labels to do the same for their artists.
