Comments: Allen Carr's method has far surpassed any other quitting smoking method I have used, when the NHS are using homoeopathy regularly, despite the lack of verifiable evidence that it works, I find it amazing that they still refuse to acknowledge easy way as the successful CBT based treatment that it really is!

Comments: This book is a revelation!! I was so sceptical before I read it - I can't believe it took me so long to do, but I can happily say, it was sooooo easy to quit! And I haven't put on any weight. I am planning my wedding and have successfully started a recruitment agency in Brighton ( both STRESSFUL) and haven't felt the need to pick up another cigarette. Amazing. Thanks Allen!!

Comments: I have been trying to stop smoking for years. I am a student and can't afford the fees for the clinic. If the clinic was available on the NHS, I believe I would have a higher chance of success. I have tried the Alan Carr books and dvd before, however I returned to life as a smoker.

Comments: After 36 years of smoking and the last 15 of which I have been trying to not smoke - it took one weekend away to read the book and change my life forever!!! I have worked for the NHS since 1981 and cannot believe the amount of money being wasted through smoking cessation initiatives. I cannot hurt - and will be far more effective - to include this programme in the options available to smokers who no longer want to smoke.

Comments: I decided to stop smoking after nearly 39 years being a smoker(with a few attempts to stop en route). I had my last cigarette on 11 Aug before I had heard of Allen Carr. By chance on Friday 13 Aug my daughter (a non smoker) gave me a copy of Easyway to read. I read the book on Saturday morning & did not stop until I had completed it (approx 4 hrs). I can truly say I have not once wanted or felt the need for a cigarette since and have just recommended the book to a friend. I will buy a copy of Easyway just in case I need any support in the future.

Comments: 2 years since my last cigarette - it's been a breeze. When I hear of people trying the NHS stop smoking services I feel sorry for them as the odds are stacked against them. The Allen Carr Method is cost effective and gives the smoker a fantastic chance of overcoming their addiction.

Comments: Can not believe the NHS would rather pay for people to take drugs than go to a clinic which is obviously healthier and with the money back guarantee there would be nothing to lose. If they back nicotine replacement wouldn't this be an answer to stop the nicotine going into the bodies of individuals? I have been to one of their smoking cesstation clinics and some people take the drugs for a long time and still smoke!!!

Comments: I stopped smoking using Easyway four years ago and have not looked back. I smoked for fourteen years and went through the nhs backed patches and smoking cessation clinics to no avail. Nicotine replacement therapy is a con and i wouldn't be surprised if the tobacco companies make the nrt products anyway. Easyway needs to be more widely accessible and its profile needs to be raised.

Comments: I have never smoked but a friend of mine smoked for 25 years,he tryed to give up with the will power but that didnt work. His brother gave him the Allen Carr's Eazy way to stop smoking book 2 years before and he just but it away. My friend didnt want to smoke at all which most smokers dont want to smoke, then one day he remembered this book. He didnt beleave it would work but he started reading it and couldnt put the book down with in 10 days he had stopped and is a non smoker 3 yrs on. So yes this book should be available on the NHS
