Let's give our furry friends a place to play!  : )

This petition is to establish a fenced in, off leash dog park where our well behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife. 

We, the citizens of Allen Park would like to develop a beautiful, well maintained space open to dog lovers who are willing to uphold the park rules and restrictions. We are viewing this park as a community project, in partnership with city of Allen Park, designed to satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owner alike. Where, not only dogs, but also the people of the city can socialize and enjoy yet another attraction within the city limits. 

Due to Allen Park's financial problems, this will be a community project funded by donations, fundraising, user fee and possibly grants. All we will be asking the city for is permission and a designation of land for the dog park.
