Are you in college and studying at NC? Do your parents earn over the threshold for Bursary but they don't spend it on you? Then this is the petition for you. In Scotland, the Scottish Funding Council will pay students at NC level during their college year simply for showing up and handing in work. Initially, this was put in place as an intensive to get kids into college and support them financially. However, very few students actually spend their money on educational or living requirements. The bulk load of students miss spend on nights out, booze and cigarettes. Some, even on drugs. Dear Council, is this how you want to raise the future leaders of Scotland? I personally cant get a bursary and study at NC level but my Mother never shares her money for me. I'm not the only one, or the only one in thousands. So here's my proposal The Scottish Funding Council should modify their mantra by giving a bursery to A) All NC Students B) No NC Students The power is in your hands.
