Hi All, As a CCLC parent for 6 years now, I am an enthusiastic advocate for the school. One of the things I appreciate the most is the thoughtful, caring, talented teachers. One of the teachers that has spanned the entire 6 years (of our time at CCLC) is Alicia. She seems to have endless energy, enthusiasm, charisma, passion and love for teaching. With the longest tenure (I think) of all the teachers, she has been instrumental in developing and maintaining the culture of the center. Knowing that she is on site with my children has given be a great sense of reassurance that they are in great hands. With the recent news of Alicia’s pending departure, I am of course very saddened. Sometimes we forget to show appreciation for those that really make a difference in our life. There appears to be a need for a head teacher role at CCLC Los Altos (PreK1 is in need of a teacher), and Alicia wants to be a teacher again, so I thought if we all shared a few thoughts on what she means to us, she may be convinced to take a head teacher role at CCLC Los Altos. (Attached is a “petition” site that makes it easy to share thoughts).
