If you choose to run, BE YOURSELF! Do not let them demonize you or make you be something you are not. You are an intelligent man who will provide thoughtful leadership at a time when we so desparately need that. If the other side tries a "flip-flopper" type characterization of you (like they did Kerry), face it like a man..."Yes, I changed my position...that's what thoughtful leadership requires. When one is faced with the knowledge that the "intelligence" used to sell this war was nothing but falsehoods, then yes I realized I made a mistake in supporting this war. But let me ask you, Mr. Bush, why did you lie to the American public?"
Now, of course, that won't be possible in 2008...but we must find a way to incorporate all of these things into your candidacy. I loved your documentary and it shows just what a great leader you would be...and would allow this nation to be respected again. No more of the "food on your family" or "where wings take dream" foibles.
Please, Mr. Gore, you will get to take the office that you already won once before having it stolen by the shenanigans in this state...and, if you run, I will be an avid door-knocker, letter-to-the-editor writer, get-out-the-vote advocate, and anything else it takes for us to not have to endure another conspiratorial administration leading us down a path of destruction.
