Please agree to be our candidate. If you do, I will volunteer for your campaign, I will send money, I will do whatever I can to help get you elected. I helped out with the Kerry campaign, not because I was particularly impressed by Kerry, but because I wanted to defeat Bush.

Iran, North Korea, Chile and the Sudan are but a few countries in the pipeline of threats to America and to the world. We cannot chance another 4 years of a Republican controlled government to handle these dangerous negotiations.
Considering Hilary Clinton as a viable candidate will be an unconscionable mistake at this point. Senator Clinton has not denounced America's participation in the Iraq war which has unequivocally denigrated into this predictable civil war. She is absolutely hated and scorned by the Republican Party. They will divert the attention of the public from the real issues facing America, to begin their sordid peek up the Clinton's skirts. Our courts are being saturated lawsuits over introducing creationism as a science in our public schools-is there no doubt that this country is not ready to take on a female president?
We are not at a point in world history where we can push an agenda for sexual equality. We are at a point in history where we must stop the Republican machine from destroying America's credibility as a true Democracy as well as our viability to be a world leader - politically, technology and economically. We are going to be relegated to a second class nation rife with our own breed of sectarian violence if the Republican party continues their abhorrent legacy in 2008.
t is a time for sacrifice from all of us in order to stop the Republicans from retaining office. We must forgo one aspect of the Democratic platform for the greater good of this country and this world. We need Al Gore. He will galvanize us into an army of active participants in the world stage. He will give us hope. Hope that we can reason rather than kill; hope that we can sustain rather than destroy, hope that our children will have a future-not a reality of a World War. Taking back the White House is not an issue of Democrats versus Republicans. It is an issue of America as a purveyor of solutions rather than anarchy. It is about the future of this world. |
