| 3351 | Marilyn | Charkin | VT | My 14 year old granddaughter and I are currently volunteering together for Sanders and Welsh n Vermont. We all know the importance of this November's election. Never in my lifetime, ( am 66 years old, have I ever seen our country in such dire need of positive, honest leadership. I will always believe that you won the election for President and your right to serve was stolen from you. Bush's approval rating is proving that the American people are finally getting it. We need you and you know how much our grandchildren need you. Do this for Tara and all the other children we so cherish. They deserve no less than having hope and having you as their President. I wish you and your family well and I think we all understand what a horrendous task you would be undertaking once again. It is almost inhumane to ask you to go through this once again but we need you to take back America from these thieves, liars and fools. |

| 3369 | Cathy | Barrett | CA | Dear I-wish-you-were-President Gore,
I have seen your film, not once, but twice. I used a perfectly good "date night" while my daughter was visiting her grandparents to see it the first time. The following evening, I saw "Who Killed the Electric Car?". Now I'm really mad. After seeing the film, I took my midwestern mother, her friends, and my six-year-old daughter. As we exited the theater, Rachel said to me, "Mom, I learned so much that my head is swirling". Mind you, this is a child begging me to help her set up a Lemonade stand in Golden Gate Park with the proceeds going to the Impeach W Fund--so she was a very easy sell. The senior set was a little slower on the draw, but I think they began to see why I rant and rave about the Bush administration. I've also breached company policy and recommended to all 200 of my co-workers to see your film. We are trying to practice sustainable architecture and it seemed like a good idea to understand just how important that is. I tell kids interviewing to see it, I talk to waitresses about it |

| 3376 | Nick | Draper | CA | After reading about Al Gore, and his political views I have come to belive that he is exactly what this country needs in a leader, at this time in this day. |
| 3377 | Thomas | Bartow | CO | Mr Gore:
By all reasons and standards of justice you should be have been our president from at least 2000-2004. As you painfully know, Bush was selected president and had all the votes been counted, you would have won.
You have won my complete confidance with your latest movie about global warming as well.
We need somebody with your ethics and leadership and vision to repair all the damage that the republicans have done during the past 5 years. I can't think of anybody who is planning on runing either today or in the past who is in the same league as you.
I really hope you decide to run, just think of all of us scraping to get by.
Best Wishes and Warmest regards!
Tom |
| 3378 | Susanne | Dennis | NJ | somebody needs to help us |
| 3379 | Bradley | Dellilnger | NC | Dear Mr. Gore,
I recently heard you call the political system today poison. I believe this to be very true, but with your help we as Americans can change this trend of dirty partisanship, and bring this country back to where it was. It is so hard today being 31 a hard worker and still cant afford heath insurance or dental, or even walk into a doctors office. Also watching these rich oil tycoons (even the ones in the white house) destroy the earth, and try to force democracy on whoever they feel it right. I beg you Mr.. Vice President please take our country back.
Thank You
Bradley Dellinger |
| 3380 | Jason | Stillwell | FL | Mr. Vice President,
Our great nation needs you now more than ever. With soaring deficits, an illegal war, gas prices out of control and other major issues we face the country needs someone with the moral compass to turn the direction of the country.
In your movie you said that we are lacking political leadership to turn things around. Well Mr. Vice President you are thre only one who can provide that kind of leadership so please run for president. |

| 3398 | Vanessa | Harbin | NC | There is no other democrat around today that I would feel good about voting for other than Gore. I can't stand Hillary (and I'm a woman who would LOVE to see that glass ceiling shattered), John Edwards has no experience and worse doesn't seem to know it (and I'm from NC), Lieberman was always a whimp and now is living up to that more than ever, somehow the right bludgeoned Dean's credibility beyond repair, Kerry has no prayer of getting the "common man's" vote, and the other democrat presidential possibilities mentioned these days are either no-names or extremist reactionaries. 95% of the time I vote Democrat but I'm not a party-line ballotier. If the party wants to keep mostly loyal but not brainwashed voters like myself, then Gore is their best prayer. |
| 3399 | Dan | Markis | NY | A Gore/Edwards ticket would be great. |
