| 2739 | Jim | Bowling | OH | I've been a Gore supporter since long before he and Bill Clinton teamed up. As a matter of fact, when I first heard of the pairing I wondered who Bill Clinton was and that whatever his qualifications he couldn't be more qualified than Al Gore.
I saw Al Gore speak on different TV programs and was very impressed with his views on the different issues and especially his views on weening our culture off of foosil fuels and combatting air polution and global warming.
He is the first person I heard speak of such things and then I found that every article I read and discussion of these matters by the scientific community agreed 100% with his assertions.
I believe a true leader has vision and he was and still is in the forefront of trying to save the planet as we presently know it.
He is as intelligent a man as I've ever seen on the national scene and I believe that if he is left to his own instincts he can out shine anybody the Republicans put up against him.
It is wrong that such a brilliant man and leader had an election stolen from him by the dumbest, most morally bankrupt person I've ever seen.
All anyone has to do is imagine where we would be now in this country if Al Gore was president compared to the almost irreparable mess the Bush administration has gotten us and the rest of the world into. |
