| 1460 | P D | Hennessey | MD | Mr. Gore - I don't make it a habit of begging anyone for anything...I'm a single Mom of a young teen with Asperger's Syndrome. A few year's ago, the Mom of a young man killed in Iraq told me, "It doesn't matter that your son has a diagnosis like this - they will take him. He's a body." For these and so many reasons...namely because you are brilliant, passionate and a true statesman - and the only person who can SAVE our country - for this, I beg you...please run and take care of us in what used to be America! |

I've carried as a bookmarker a quote you delivered on 13 Dec 2000. "... no matter how hard the loss, defeat might serve as well as victory to shake the soul and let the glory out."
It's time to shake your soul again for the grandchildren's future. |

| 1476 | nancy | firestone | FL | |
| 1477 | Ann | Taylor | TX | Now more than ever |
| 1478 | Kim | van Rijn | WV | Dear Al, I've been supporting you for President since 1988. Please--the Democrats need you, this country needs you, this world needs you as our next President. I'm sure public life is difficult and it would be more comfortable for you to stay out of the race. But I'm begging you to put your personal preferences aside and make one last attempt. We (my myself, my husband, the country as a whole) have suffered greviously under Bush. My husband, who is in his late forties, was recalled to active service had to serve in both Kuwait and Iraq--he should be home bouncing grandchildren on his knees, not loading coffins of boys younger than his sons onto planes to be shipped home for burial. This country is on the wrong course on so many fronts. Please run again--we need you.
