Name: Deborah Keene on Feb 19, 2013Comments: I grew up in North Woburn and am in the area often visiting my family and the traffic is awful and this would only be adding more traffic to an already conjested area. Most of the side streets in this area are very narrow and can not handle additional traffic, not to mention that they do not have sidewalks. My mother, sisters and nephews and thier families will be directly impacted with this project. It is the blasting and the trucking that is a big concern. I remember when the Town of Burlington was building the Millpond Reservoir and blasting was done our house would shake and we had cracks in our walls. There was not the developement in the area that there is now. People will have to put up with this and the trucking of the debris for 18 months or more. Now with the CVS going in and the land next to St Anthony's being developed where is all this traffic going. The streets and the traffic signals can not control the type of traffic that we now. Does the city of Woburn not care about the families that have lived in this area for years, several generations of families are in the No. Woburn area? I think they need to take a closer look on how this will impact all of the services that the city provides, schools, police, fire, dpw. 15 Corocran Rd. Burlington, MA 01803Flag
