Comments: The repeal of semesterization needs to happen ASAP. Our children's education is too valuable to wait.

Comments: It concerns me that states like North Carolina that did semesterize high schools are now in the process of reversing this trend. These school system, like in NC cite a of lack of improvement of the graduation rates, lack of connection between the first half and second half of course work and oddly enough an increase in discipline issues.

Comments: I've lost a huge amount of respect for the administration of the schools for forcing this without discussion. There was no positive case made. Firing teachers to meet the budget was a weak excuse for this much disruption and creating a negative impact on learning. Having one semester of a foreign language is silly. Not have year long math is so obviously a bad idea, that it seems the reasoning for instituting the semester courses must be beyond logic.

Comments: I totally disagree with semesterization of classes in Albemarle County High Schools. Let us return to the block alternating day schedule for the long term benefit of our students and out community.
