| 205 | Bob North | I personally can not consider any other cadidate until I know for sure Al Gore will not run. As of this moment I do not see my self being able to support any of the democratic candidates except for maybe kucinich and he has no chance of being voted in.I do not want a Republican as our next president but I also don't want to vote for Hillary , Obama or Edwards. |
| 206 | g mcgregor | I'd like to add that Gore be kept apprised of the results of any polls that include him - so he can see how many people want him as our President. |
| 207 | Norma Cartwright | Given the eight fine people running, I note that none have an adequate message or plan for global climate change.
Not good. For them, us or the world!
Add Mr. Gore's experience and foreign policy expertise, to say nothing of the respect that the world holds for him (and notwithstanding the fact the present president is so feared and hated) - and he is the perfect man for the next president of the United States.
Too bad it was stolen from him in 2000, the first time he won it... |

| 221 | dONNA | PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RUN FOR PRESIDENT. You really were elected in the first place and It's just a damn shame what has happened to our democracy and to the world since the Bush Crime family took over the WhiteHouse. |

| 223 | Anonymous | I have always liked Wes Clark...but since he hasn't announced yet, I'm on the fence between Edwards and Obama. But if Gore enters, the choice will be easy: GORE!! |
| 224 | Mark Demont | Al Gore has to be included in future polls. With such a strong national campaign to urge him to run for president, and growing stronger daily, to omit him is totally irresponsible |

| 227 | Bonnie McFadden | Please add Gore's name to your poll. I only wish that Howard Dean would allow his name to be included too. |
| 228 | Francine Guokas | We need you, Al Gore. I mean, WE NEED YOU. You're our best hope. How can you refuse us? Plus, you will have Presidential authority to implement the fix for the global crisis. |
| 229 | Sylvia Brunner | |
| 230 | Donna Thomas | I have been a DFA member since the beginning. Please, lets do what we can to get Gore on the ticket, 'cause, well, I just don't think I can live if Hillary get the nomination. |
| 231 | Anonymous | I am holding out for Al. Therefore, I'm not listening to any of these candidates. I am anti-Hillary and not in love w/Obama. I would vote for Edwards if Al doesn't run, but he will. |
| 232 | Anonymous | Please help us draft Al Gore, the only progressive who can win this important race. |

| 242 | john king | Al is the strongest candidate in an otherwise strong field. As he has said often, if he does is job outside politics, global warming will be the number one issue for all candidates. It is not.
Nor do I expect it to be without a Gore candidacy.
Our difficulty now as progressives and Democrats is that we have SO many issues to confront as a legacy of the last 6 years and more -- concentration of media ownership, Iraq, Afghanistan, a shredded constitution, campaign and election reform to prevent repeats of '00 and '04, national security, massive income disparities and the trade policies that create them, the national debt, and, of course, health care, and, oh yeah, global warming.
We need Al, and we need him now. |
| 243 | Caryn Noveck | |
| 244 | Michelle d'Anjou | I pray daily that Al Gore will enter the 2008 race. He IS the winning candidate, and I hope that he finds it in his heart and his gut to enter the race. I also hope he is given the support and recognition which will encourage him to run. |

| 247 | Keith Lammers | There is one potential candidate who surpasses ALL of the announced candidates; in experience, in passion for the most critical issues facing us as a species and there is only one who has already won the Presidency.
Include the possibility for us to vote for Al Gore, or admit to what do you think your role is in the run-up to the elections; gatekeepers of conventional wisdom? Kingmakers? Get a grip! |
