Show your support for House Bill 93, the school gardens bill!  This bill provides funding for existing and new school gardens across the state of Alaska.  Schools, in partnership with a non-profit, will be able to apply for funding over consecutive years for supplies and operational costs.  This bill offers the lasting support that school gardens in our state need!

School gardens are excellent educational resources.  They provide space for agricultural, food and nutrition education as well as allow teachers to try creative, outdoor lessons in math, english, art, social studies and many other subjects.  There are schools across our state who want to start gardens but simply do not have the funding.  Your support can help change that and provide more opportunities for Alaska's youth!
