AKC Stop alliances with HVBs and Pet Shops

THANK YOU! THE AKC HAS DECIDED TO BACK OUT OF THIS ARRANGEMENT DUE TO PRESSURE FROM DOG LOVERS! NO MORE SIGNATURES ARE NEEDED FOR THE PETITION. WE PRAY THEY WILL NOT ATTEMPT SOMETHING LIKE THIS AGAIN AND MAYBE EVEN PULL OUT OF THEIR HUNTE CORP CONTRACT.


We the below signed demand the American Kennel Club stop putting the puppy millers, brokers and pet shops above those who are genuinely attempting to better breeds in health, form and function. By forming alliances of any sort with brokers and HVBs, the AKC is going to negatively affect breeds and those breeding for reasons other than profit. (Updated 9/16/06 This will also negatively affect rescues.)

Anonymous signatures may not be taken as seriously by the American Kennel Club. Bear this in mind when you sign.
