Name: PETER G MACKIE on Mar 19, 2007Comments: I have been horrified by the callous attitude towards guns in the UK since the Tony Martin case in 2000, when I was shocked at the number of people who stood up for an obviously mad farmer who shot a 16-year-old in the back, when his life was in no danger. If he had gone free, that would have set the green light for more shootings. I have been even more concerned by the number of shootings of teenagers that there have been recently and feel morally obliged to add my voice to the number of others who wish to make our views clear that this should be put a stop to before this country becomes like the US, which it appears to be following in all the worst aspects.Flag

Name: Heather Martin on May 10, 2007Comments: I am living in London so I am not legally entitled to vote in your petition. However, my cat was recently shot with an airgun and I was appalled at how many people had suffered in this way and not reported the matter. Airgun crime is far, far higher than we anticipate and I fully support a ban on airguns. I hope to interest my own MP in your campaign in order to encourage him to discuss this matter in our parliament. Keep up the good work! Good luck to you!Flag
