Liz Cole | I actively avoid going to the theatre in the summer as i can't cope with the heat. I would love decent air conditioning!

Craig Fisher | Loooooooong overdue.
Barbara Wheeler | Luckily we have been to a number of shows at the venue so we do know what we are in for but it would be more enjoyable if it was sorted.
janet Baker | Quite agree. lovely compact theatre spoilt by the sweltering conditions even in the pantomine season
Amy Wake | It'd probably even encourage more peope to come to the theatre, as well as pleasing loyal attendees.
Anonymous | when ever I have been to the library theatre I have found that the theatre gets hot pretty quickly and can be unbearable
Anonymous | please please get this sorted we should be able to watch productions comfortably!
anna wason | Heat is unbearable at the best of times but a theatre needs a good air conditoned atmosphere to enjoy the plays!!!
Graeme Halls | Please Replace the Air Conditioning. It is about as much use as a Chocolate Teapot. Especially when the Theatre is on the top floor, this makes it even worse. Remember, hot air rises.
elliott lawrence | I weas not feeling very well last week, but went to see a show at the library theatre regardless - as I wanted to support my friends. Regrettably I had to leave at the interval as it was too hot to sit and concentrate! Come on guys - get it sorted.
Lorraine George | LBC - waste less money on revamping roads for the worse (Stockingstone!!!) and replace this air con unit

| 124 | panaramaoia | Yes and whilst you are repairing the Library AC, howzabout sorting out the apalling air conditioning at your other venue; The Hat Factory?!!
. |
Tim Hayden | Air-con is dreadful. When I have worked on Front Of House I have had dozens of complaints about the heat in the theatre, and many people have left saying they will not come back.

Anonymous | My sister's 5 year old friend had to be taken out of theater because she was very over heated and was nearly sick.
barbara hunt | having been to the nearby Grove theatre in Dunstable recently , I would rather attend productions there and be comfortable. Shame on you LBC for neglecting your public and the very talented LOCAL drama groups who work very hard all year long to entertain the people of Luton, some of who voted for you and deserve more than you are currently providing.!
Lorraine Simmons | The Witches of Eastwick was fantastic, but the temperature was just sooo hot - please please can you move this up your priority list Luton Council. The Library theatre is a great local venue and such inadequacies may well put people off visiting productions there.
Caroline Berry | I have both performed in the Library Theatre and watched show there and agree that the air-conditioning is entirely inadequate. It is horrible, esspecially in the middle of summer when it's very hot anyway. Something needs to be done to improve the situation.
Miss M Sohal | I hope Luton Borough Council can solve this problem amicably and soon, or it will be losing revenue in the months to come.
Paul Hayward | It's like an oven in there.
Wilson | Air conditioning will greatly enhance the atmosphere and the ability of performers to give a far more professional performance to a comfortable audience. Please ensure a good system of air conditionining is installed as a matter of urgency. Thank you.
Paul Rogers | This theatre would be much loved if it was cooler, I agree, lets stop wasting money adding traffic lights to roundabouts, changing one ways to both ways and back again in three year loops and get people interested in family activities again in the right conditions.
