Mayor Sadiq Khan's proposal to extend London's Ultra Low Emission Zone to the boundary of the South Circular is to be welcomed. However, although this will help to tackle notorious pollution hot spots like Clapham Junction and Putney High Street it will not cover Tooting High Street. Recent air quality tests conducted by FLCZ show that emissions here are some of the worst in the capital.
