The feedback I continue to receive reminds me that these layoffs threaten the core of our local food security. I am currently compiling a report on the long term economic risks of these cuts to present to the legislature. Food security is everything in hawaii. why would they cut the people who actually keep our land working? short sighted and stupid.
118 people losing jobs is a disaster for our local economy. we need these jobs to stay here.

DOA workers do way more than people realize. stop the cuts now before we lose our farms for good.
