Name: Anonymous on Feb 19, 2008Comments: This change will make the difference for me between keeping my elite level at Platinum or Chairmans Preferred or not, and it might actually make it difficult for me to maintain Gold Preferred! It might actually be the final straw for me that will push me to status match and run to another carrier after 23 years of loyalty to US Airways, RELIGIOUSLY!!!!!Flag

Name: Sean Cullinan on Feb 19, 2008Comments: This is just a stupid plan. Many flights of short duration are extremely expensive, more than long flights. The only consolation is that you get at least 500 miles while paying an ridiculous amount of money to travel say 200 miles such as SBY-DCA. US is going to shoot themselves in the foot with this as people find alternate means of travel. Many will just drive (and take the .45/mile or whatever it is these days if on business) if they can't at least get some miles.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 26, 2008Comments: USAirways should reconsider this change in the program. We who have been loyal through bankruptcy and declining service have fewer reasons to remain loyal. I flew Airtran last week. The service, condition of the aircraft, attitude of the employees and the fares were are superior to USAirways. Like thousands of others I am asking myself, is this little gold card worth anything Does USAirways even careFlag
