To the residents of Perth, I write in relation to the culling of White Corella birds in Maylands and elsewhere. Surely the devastating floods and bushfires across Australia have caused enough death, destruction and suffering to out native animals. I ask people to show compassion for these birds who are to being put to death in a gruesome and barbaric way.
