Name: Anonymous on May 20, 2010Comments: the petition says it all but we NEED A MORAL GOVERNMENT to reduce abortion to helping a mother whose life is threatened rather than a contraception which as much as you dress it up is WHOLESALE MURDER. Please stop all forms of advertising this most wicked killing.Flag

Name: Ian Howard on May 20, 2010Comments: Whilst I am happy for people to have information on pregnancy advisory services, I believe that it is important that we ensure that abortion does not simply become another 'option' in family planning. Television, radio and other broadcast media, often shape people's thinking as to what is normal and what is not - this is particularly true for young people. For this reason I strongly urge you not to allow adverts for abortion services via these channels. Abortion and abortion services are not something that should be promoted in this way.Flag

Name: Jacqueline Casson on May 20, 2010Comments: Abortion is the act of killing a person, which ideally should never happen but should only be allowed in the most desperate circumstances. To advertise it as a lifestyle choice for women is irresponsible and negligent.Flag

Name: Llima Cole on May 20, 2010Comments: I DO NOT want this advert to be aired. Abortion is murder however you wrap it up. What next, adverts for euthinasia and assisted suicide clinics? An advertisement offering abortions, even if not by name, is inappropriate for television at any time of day. The 'product' is an emergency procedure and is already widely known about. There are a vast number of people, in the UK who believe that abortion is the killing of a defenseless child. Any ad suggesting that it is merely a lifestyle choice should be subject to trades description laws. Any ad encouraging the killing unborn children, albeit dressed up in a friendly way, is also highly offensive to people, who have difficulty in conceiving and would treasure their baby from its very conception, and those who have lost much wanted children through miscarriage. Any such ad should address the vast implications of psychological and physical trauma that are very often associated with abortions. For example, a financial services ad would have to make these caveats.Flag

Name: Leanne Farlow on May 20, 2010Comments: It's sick and morally wrong to kill a child that might have been. Where are the rights for good in this country WHERE! To advertise this is sick and only going to cause abortions to rise and more and more children to be evil and irresponsible. Why don't you do some good with your advertising instead of spewing out constant filth!Flag
