Name: Surrounding Neighborhood Resident on Mar 23, 2007Comments: I find it offensive that you constantly disrespect my neighborhood and property and then ask for my help when it benefits you. If you know it is wrong to park on the streets of the neighborhoods, you should not be doing it in the first place. Therefore we elect to continue to have your vehicles ticketed and towed, one after another, as many already have been. It should never be an option to disregard other people just to avoid inconveniencing yourselves. If I cannot park in front of my own home half the time, which I own, why should it be any easier for you to park, you did it even before they permitted the parking anywaysFlag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 23, 2007Comments: The residents all around the community did not pay good money for their homes to have people block their driveways and block the sidewalks for the handicap individuals in the neighborhood. This parking problem on community streets started even before the permitting was enacted at Atrium Court. If you do not respect the community, the community will not respect you. I'm sorry for these 'parking issues' but this should not be the communities problem. Cars get towed for a reason because they are in volation, not because the community does not like them. Cars also get tickets when they are violating parking laws. The police does not waste their time unless a person is breaking the law. This should not be a community problem, but with that said, I believe the parking problem should be changed. Respect your community.Flag

Name: Marina Komar on Mar 24, 2007Comments: I totally agree with the above. Every night when I come home I have to drive aroung for at least 30 minutes trying to find free spot. I got two cars and only one parking space. When I went to apartment management to ask for additional parking, I was told that we have a waiting list and no additional parking is available. So what should I do It is really frastrating to sit in a car for 30-45 min in the evening (around 10 of 11 pm) waiting for somebody to leave, when I have to be up at 5 am to go to work. We didn't had problem with parking before, spots were always available on the back of the apartments. This "reserved" parking only created huge problem for all of us. We have many spaces available, but we, residents of Atrium Court, can't park there even for 5 min because of the fear of car being towed. This is not right! I am asking, whoever is in charge of that, please change our parking situation!!!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 25, 2007Comments: I thank you for starting this petition and for your activism in our community. Not only has Atrium Court created a hardship for and infringed upon the rights of their tenants to a peaceful and enjoyable dwelling, they have also made it impossible to have guest. Most times there isn't enough parking for residents, let alone a visitor. A little off the subject, but yet another way that Atrium court has infringed upon the rights of their tenants, they posted notices that the children of this community are not allowed to play organized sports in the grass areas or ride two wheeled equipment (such as bicycles) on the sidewalks or in the parking lot. However, skateboards are acceptable. Although Atrium Court worded their notice in discrete, suggestive language; it is obvious that this restriction is geared towards a particular demographic. The message that Atrium court is sending to us residents is,Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 26, 2007Comments: This parking situation is rediculous!! It has to change!!! I also have gone into the office to get an additional parking and and they put me on a list. I have gone back into the office to see where I was at on the list and they told me that the list has not changed! But yet there are plenty of spaces that are reserved but not occupied, meaning nobody lives in the apartments that those spots are assigned to!!!!! If we park in those spots, our damn cars get towed! Its not fair to us residents!!!! Something NEEDS TO CHANGE!!!!Flag
