I published this petition to express my frustration against what the Danish illustrators of Jyllands Post Newspaper did for 3 months, publishing a dozen of cartoon works disrespecting the Muslims prophet; Mohammed, peace be upon him.
I'm not seeking to target Muslims to sign in this petition; but also those who belive that disrepsecting a massenger of God is disrespectful, dishonest and against human rights of believing and applying certain beleifs and laws in their own life.
I'm a person with dignity and who wants to protect a person whose not only a prophet, but also a teacher and a figurehead of millions around the world, in whome Muslims beleive in his message and teachings.
I belive that this is my own right - as well as of others- to express my anger against these disrespectful cartoons that portray our prophet negatively. |
