    The following website and it's associate social network sites depict a severe insult against the Buddha and Buddhism. The Site carries the name myskinnybuddha.com, and in our perception this is a direct insult levelled at an image much revered by almost a half a billion followers of the Buddha Around the World. 
    
    Detailing out the specifications of the insult 
    
    1. They feature an image in which the Buddha is mimicing a Yoga posture, which is principally incorrect
    2. They venture to call themseleves associate Buddhas. In our belief and faith, the Buddha is not matched by any other living being. So we are compelled to take this as a direct insult to our beliefs. An example to this claim is quoted below :

    Also, in segments of this site, various programmes could be found, annexed to the added humiliation of the Name of Buddha.Ex: Hardcore buddha, run with buddha, Buddha's butt camp, flexi buddha strech, bike with buddha, etc
    
    We see this as a harsh and highly ignorant, disrespectful act or an assault towards the trusts, faiths and beliefs venerated by the Buddhists around the World. Therefore we have decided to get together an act to create global public awareness of this, and raise a strong voice to Preserve the rights of Buddhist followers.
