   Comments: Dear fellow people forum readers, It would appear that Microsoft is indeed aware of our growing resentment despite their less than helpful automated replies on this issue. They have LOCKED a related thread (i.e. "25GB of free storage space downgraded to 7GB? Why wasn't I notified of this and given a chance to keep my 25GB of storage?" )on this matter of the SkyDrive Loyalty bonus not being properly notified to the customer base and the unilateral reduction in the storage space from 25Gb to 7Gb. In addition, they just mass emailed this to us: "We've updated the Microsoft Services Agreement, which governs many of our online services - including your Microsoft account and many of our online products and services for consumers, such as Hotmail, SkyDrive, Bing, MSN, Office.com, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, Windows Mail Desktop, and Windows Writer. Please read over the new Microsoft Services Agreement here to familiarize yourself with the changes we've made. The UPDATED AGREEMENT WILL TAKE EFFECT ON OCTOBER 19, 2012. If you continue to use our services after October 19th, you agree to the terms of the new agreement or, of course you can cancel your service at any time. We have modified the agreement to make it easier to read and understand, including using a question and answer format that we believe makes the terms much clearer. We also clarified how Microsoft uses your content to better protect consumers and improve our products, including aligning our usage to the way we're designing our cloud services to be highly integrated across many Microsoft products. We realize you may have personal conversations and store personal files using our products, and we want you to know that we prioritize your privacy. Finally, we have added a BINDING ARBITRATION CLAUSE AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER that affects how disputes with Microsoft will be resolved in the United States" Do take note of the CAPITALIZED points above. Microsoft must have taken note of our intention to initiate a Class Action suit against SkyDrive as mentioned on some the the Forum threads listed here, as well as on the online petition http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/against-7gb-skydrive-by-microsoft/ Seems like the goliath is bullying its loyal customers :(

    Comments: Never received an email stating they were reducing my skydrive to 7GB. Also never seen a yellow banner/bar like the customer service agent said i should of seen (the one I contacted today). They just said there is nothing I can do as the offer expired june 25th). I feel 7GB is useless, in the past I always found it tedious to upload to skydrive and was waiting for a good native application so i could start using it, andd now there is a good application, but when i go to use it i can't as i have only 7GB and the photos i want to upload is more then 7GB !. I was very shocked to see that my skydrive was reduced to 7GB. I just get so sick of micrrosoft offering features and taking it away at a later date: Office live spaces(integration in office 2007), live mesh, gadgets in windows Vista/7, vista users should of been offered a free upgrade to windows 7(if windows 7 never came out vista would have been updated), the list goes on. Its got to the point I don't want to buy any future or get involved with future microsoftt products as they will or its features will be killed off at a later date, often too soon. I bought my office 2007 in 2009, and was pretty pissed when office live workspace was killed off as that was the main reason why I bought that office (its online ability) everything was moved to skydrive but office 2007 was never updated to work with it. Microsoft is just being Microsoft, sad thing is i been a really loyal customer, with hotmail since the 90's, and owned every Microsoft OS, and a lot of other products. So why would they want to pull a fast one on me? Skydrive at 7GB is totally useless especially since my box.net account has 50GB. If I had 25GB I would more likely upgrade in the future because I would use skydrive more, but when capped at 7GB, I would rather just use box.net. i hate selectively uploading things.

    Comments: We demand our 25gb free back, microsoft certainly knows how to lose customers. We were given no email to say our space would be reduced yet they were very quick to send emails out to us when the original capacity had been increased to 25gb in the past, this is absolutely outrageous, devious and cowardly on Microsofts part. Microsoft will continue to lose customers it continues to act in this unprofessional manner. They need a serious kick up the backside.
