Abercrombie & Fitch is famous for their ads depicting fit young adults in black and white wearing A&F jeans. Their jeans are made out of 100%.

This same cotton is sourced from Uzbekistan, where the government forces children out of school during the harvest season to work in the cotton fields, day after day.

The jeans that thousands of teens wear every day come at the price of a child's education.

What this petition calls for is simple: The boycott by Abercrombie & Fitch of Uzbek sourced cotton. A&F must stop buying Uzbek cotton immediately because of the implications of who likely picked it. By continuing to use Uzbek cotton, the government is only encouraged to continue this practice.

It we can successfully boycott unethical Uzbek cotton, we can reform the cotton fields into no-child labour zones and help thousands of Uzbek children finally get an education - time they otherwise would have spent in the cotton fields.

In conclusion: Abercrombie & Fitch must boycott cotton sourced from Uzbekistan and take measures to prove to the public that their cotton is, in fact, from an ethical source that does not use child labour.
