Name: Forrest Bradshaw on Dec 27, 2006Comments: I have a 95 S6 and have not had much trouble finding parts so far, but as the car slowly ages and parts become NLA there's gonna be a problem. I think I just may switch companies if Audi can't stand behind the product and supply the parts it's loyal custumer/fan base needs to keep the heritage alive, BMW may be next on the list=too bad it's not like an Audi:(Flag

Name: Tom Pollock on Dec 27, 2006Comments: I'm sure I fall into the same catagory as most others who have signed this petition. Long time Audi fanatic, multiple Audis in the driveway or storage (7), responsible for who knows how many periphery sales... but I think it's time to start unloading while some are still running, and don't look back.Flag

Name: Bruce Truax on Dec 27, 2006Comments: I just purchased a 1995 Audi UrS6 because they are solid cars with excellent performance even at 12 years old. There is no reason why this car cannot be kept running for another 10 years if parts are available. I recommend that Audi stockpile some parts for these, and all C4 body cars to help keep them running and looking good. I realize there is a cost to holding this inventory but when people see that my 12 year old Audi looks like it is just a couple of years old they are impressed and many of them go away considering purchasing an Audi.Flag

Name: Glen Turner on Dec 27, 2006Comments: My family and I are avid Audi entheusiasts, we currently own two Audi's including an Ur quattro (my second). I find it dishartening to learn of many parts becoming NLA when I call our Audi dealer whilst trying to keep my Ur in a condition that befits such an iconic vehicle. Audi is now constantly using this vehicles heritage to promote new models, but is ignoring the fact that many fans are loosing faith in the brand due to parts unavailability on the vehicle that put Audi on the modern automotive map. I do hope this matter is given the consideration it desrves, as I wish to remain loyal to Audi, if only Audi would remain loyal to the Ur quattro.Flag

Name: Mark Mattivi on Dec 27, 2006Comments: I finally aquired the car of my dreams. An original owner, Audi dealer maintained since delivery, unmolested, low milage, 1 of 73 US import, 1985 Titian Red UR Quattro in perfect condition. I'm amazed that Audi can still market and profit from the success of this car, but no longer support the dealers or Audi enthusiast to keep them running. It looks great rallying in your ads and in my garage but I can't afford to drive the thing for fear of damage or mechanicals:( Follow the lead of other manufactures and support the genetics that made Audi the best car to actually drive.Flag

Name: Eric Harten on Dec 28, 2006Comments: I am '83 UrQ owner, I and having recently completed restoring the entire car, I can vouch for this issue. Audi wants to raise its prices to improve its status and image (not to mention resale value). Abandoning its older cars is NOT how to do this. Like many of use, we started with USED Audis before we bought our first new one. They need to look no further than their very own Porsche. Prestige is more than just sticker price!Flag

If Audi refuses to support their classic enthusiast car, then what hope does any other Audi have Compare this to the '58 Mercedes I have. They still supply every part for that car at a reasonable price and even have helpful folks to answer questions.Flag

I can still get parts for my 914 Porsche, from Porsche, I can still get parts for my kid,s, Mark II Jetta, and I can get parts for my older Bimmers too. I have had 5 Audis over the years, but this makes me not want to buy a new one. If you don't support the older cars, why should I buy a new one GregFlag

Name: Bernie Strub on Dec 28, 2006Comments: I have an 83 Urq, an 87 modified 4kq and an 89 80q track car. The ability to purchase maintenance parts for these cars is key to my future enjoyment. In my opinion, there are no other cars out there that can take their place however, so I must continue to work to maintain them. The other German manufacturers make it a point to support their heritage vehicles, only Audi is phasing out their support for these unique cars.Flag

Over the last twn years I've owned twelve Audis (new and used), I sold my 1983 urQ due to Audi not supporting their older cars with replacement parts.Flag
