The petition

The dirt jumps at Adel wood were recently razed. They were unlike any in west Yorkshire and were a source of inspiration and pride for the Leeds biking community. They were a part of Leeds biking landscape for over 7 years and will be sorely missed by anyone who helped build or rode there.

Now that they are gone we are faced with a dilemma. Do we rebuild just to have the uncertainty of their survival or should we try and go legal? A group of riders are gathering together to form ourselves into a community group. Our aim is to prove that there is a need for a safe regulated dirt jump site in Leeds. With the help of the many riders of Leeds and liaising with the local council and organisations we hope to make this a reality. It will take a long time and this is only the first step.
