Name: Ricardo I. Torres on Jul 10, 2008Comments: I am an educator in the public school system and to see that a persons rights, dreams, hopes, etc.. be shattered because of someone legal status. I thought America was the land of opportunity. Allot of the students that are affected by this are wondering what to do with their lives know. It looks like the people of privilege keep on attacking innocent human beings just like in the times of slavery. When youth do not have dreams or goals, they will more then likely choose a life of crime. please change these laws. All these parents only wanted a better life for there children. Just like the ones who are not effected by this issue.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 17, 2008Comments: When I spend time teaching adults how to succeed in this state I am proud to be helping families to thrive and succeed. Yet when we close the opportunity to learn and succeed we are not living up to our heritage. We have taken an ugly turn of the states becoming the enforcers of immigration policies.Flag
