We want the Village Board of Ettrick to consider building an additional field that would be a 90-foot baseball field at Ettrick Memorial Park. The additional field would provide
1. more practice space for all Ettrick Youth Sports Club teams;
2. the landscaping of the field would eliminate the potential hazards currently associated with unevenness of the ground where T-ball currently practices;
3. EYSC would be able to host additional tournaments throughout the spring and summer baseball seasons thus increasing the dollars brought into Ettrick;
4. EYSC would have a regulation size field needed for our pony team which would be in line with the other teams we play;
5. more games could be hosted at the Memorial Park complex thus utilizing the new shelter facilities even further.
