The feedback from local performers regarding the current award categories has been insightful and confirms the necessity for this change. I am currently drafting a formal proposal to present to the organizers to ensure our request is fully understood.

YES. there is so much talent in the improv scene right now and it gets totally ignored at awards time. this needs to change.
dont see why they havent done this already. improv is its own thing and deserves a dedicated award.
improv is way harder than writing a tight script. about time chortle gave it some actual credit instead of lumping it in with variety acts.
Finally. The fringe is packed with improv shows every year and they deserve their own category for sure.
so tired of seeing amazing improv groups shoved into obscure categories. give them the recognition they earned.

been following the improv circuit for years and its honestly the best part of the comedy scene in the uk. fix the awards please!!
