The frankly brilliant simulation game Euro Truck Simulator 2 launched in October 2012 with four licensed trucks: the Scania R, MAN TGX, Renault Premium & Renault Magnum.

Then, just a few months later in the first major update for the game, DAF licensed the XF, taking the number to 5, before both Iveco and Volvo licensed the Stralis and Classic FH16 respectively in the following update.
Since then, three new truck models have appeared in the game: the Iveco Stralis Hi-Way, new Volvo FH/FH16 and Scania R Streamline. However, lurking the back the entire time has remained one unlicensed truck, a memoir of the original 1.1.1 version game: the Mercedes-Benz Actros, known to players as the Majestic Across.
Why does Mercedes-Benz not consider a truly great game this popular to be worthy of a license for a truly great truck? Scania, MAN and Renault thought it was from the start, DAF, Iveco and Volvo realized very quickly. But Mercedes have decided to watch as their rivals get their newest models depicted in the game in their licensed forms and issued to players for free. Why? Because they are worried that the presence of a licensed Actros in the game would ruin their brand image. Far from it based on current evidence of the popularity of the game, however. So this petition is for all players of ETS2 to join together to make Mercedes-Benz see sense and get that last truck licensed before the latest in a long line of updates brings another Euro6 class truck, another of MB's rivals, into the game for free: the new DAF XF.
Sign this petition to rid the Across from ETS2 and replace it with Actros!
