Long long overdue. Enough with the time wasting, lives costing legal challenges and let it go ahead. 50 is 50 too many. How many more?
This is so over due!.to many lives have been taken on that part of the A5 in the 32 years i have been in the area time to change!
Please before any more deaths. The road I live on is a minor road that links the A5 to the B48. There has been 14 accidents this year outside our house. Speed the only cause as it has many bends. We need an A5 to prevent these incidents. Two ambulances were called again today plus police.
The sooner this road is built the better. The possible construction of this road is the only lifeline there is for an economic and socially sustainable future for he town of Omagh. It is the least the people of the area deserve.
We need this new road, so that we can get quicker safer access for the Hospitals. Also to create more opportunists for our town regarding transport to more jobs for our young people. We are cut off from the rest of our country and this in turn weights heavy on the development and healthy grow off our town.
Far too many lives have already been lost on this treacherous road.

The A5 is one of the most dangerous roads in the UK, and connects Dublin and Donegal, passing through a busy part of the North. It's narrow, twisty and has many side roads and passes over bogland. A suitable modern dual carriageway would offer a far safer transit for all.
