Non-smokers have no right to take away another persons rights. If they do not like smoking let them go elsewhere. There are non-smoking restaurants etc. Let them go there or have a smoking area and non-smoking areas in public establishments?Flag

Name: Linda Oppedisano on Aug 8, 2010Comments: I was shocked in 2008 when I found out that all of a sudden after all these years? I was not able to have a after dinner cigarette in a restaurant any more. Since then I no longer go to restaurants as I once did & have no desire to. I knew that there was people complaining about cigaretts...But I never thought they will pass a law on it? At 52 & smoking 36 years that came from a family that smoked, I don't believe a cigarette will kill you. But you idiots actually got people to believe it & the government is getting rich w/the taxes & fines. This idea ccame from Hitler the madman who killed over 6 million men, woman & children? You actually are doing the same as he had? Let me know when the concentration camps for smokers go up. This world gone mad.Flag

Goverment can not rule our lives Because smokers will have to make work places a little more hard on boss by taking longer breaks. Outside of any hospital grounds smokers are treated like crap. Main doors at any hospital you got stinky cabs tailpipe fumes that more unhealthy than a cicgartte. Clean air campus on hospital is a lot BS. The area malls also are smoke free but not gang free Smoker in outdoors leave only scent but gangs leave dead bodies everywhere ( Ban Youth in malls and parks) DRUNK DRIVERS KILL MORE PEOPLE EVERY YEAR I heard and seen enough Dam itFlag

Name: Phyllis Coleman on Mar 23, 2012Comments: I am a 66-year old Senior Citizen, living in a Senior Citizen Residential Building, operated and owned by Catholic Charities and HUD. They are trying to pass a "No Smoking" law in the building, thereby forcing the elderly/disabled to have to go out in extreme cold or hot weather. Our Civil Rights are being violated, and I want to fight for them and myself. Please give me more information on how to fight this.Flag
