Name: Louis Passauer on Apr 21, 2010Comments: It is no sin for someone who pays for advanced education, and dedicates himself (or herself) to a profession to earn an above average wage. All men may be created equal, but not all possess the drive and determination to rise above the masses. Do not remove the incentive from this group. Remove monetary incentives, and all that go with it, from our freedoms and you inhibit the creative abilities which has made our country the world leader in medicine.Flag

Name: Deni Ann Gereighty, BSN, RN on Apr 21, 2010Comments: As an RN for 25 years, it is an insult to physicians to continually cut their payments for caring for Medicare patients. I have done the Medicare/Medicaid reviews when I worked for Louisiana Health Care Review. Costs for quality care are not going down, so how do you justify cutting the reimbursement to physicians? Correct, prompt care prevents more costly care later if diagnoses are missed initially due to lack of time or high quality testing. . We need to fix Medicare by having a rational Medicare physician payment system that has a fair funding formula.Flag

Name: Lynda LeCompte on Apr 21, 2010Comments: We the working people paid into this plan out entire life and should be able to have it for use when we are old. This is what Medicare/Medicade was generated and paid for. Take care of the hard working people that paid into this first. Too many young people whom have never worked a day in there life is getting the benefits that we may never be able to obtain due to misuse.Flag
