Comments: Yes, ALL establishments should be accessible for everyone. All people, no matter their condition, should be able to attend events, etc. where everyone else does. Therefore...all establishments should HAVE to make their places accessible to EVERYONE. Besides, why would businesses not follow that rule It will bring more people=more business-more profit!!! Duh!

Comments: My friend suffers from MS and is confined to a wheelchair. I am always aware of how difficult it is for her to get around and I think that if we have the ability to make things better for people with disabilities we should!

Comments: As a parent who has a disability...I am still running into in accessible issues, programs for my children are not all accessible, therefore as a parent who wants to be involved...I can't be....how frustrating!!!

Comments: I wholeheartedly support the work and aim of this petition. To the business person, be advised that not offering access to people with disabilities not only hinders your bottom line it further weakens your position in the community.

Comments: What if the bus you take to work every day suddenly drove by you with a big sign that said " No Red Heads" how would you feel Or what if your favorite video store would not let you rent cause you were too tall Do these thigs sound silly to you Well then think about how rediculas it is that not every establishment should be required by law to be accessible to EVERYONE!!!!

Comments: I think it is really important that people with disabilities be able to access all of campus. This is not fair to them to have to fight with lingering and sometimes rude students. Everyone should have the same access.

Comments: I am glad that someone is finally trying to make Waterloo completely accesible, I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to pursue a university career and it being so hard to find a university with a huge lack of accesible areas etc. Congrats!
