1851 Jane McIntoshThis is totally against basic human rights and I'm ashamed our government is even considering it as a policy
1852 Suzi Marsh
1853 Tom Bandfield
1854 Sarah FitzpatrickThis is an awful proposal, which both undermines the roles of health professionals and the functionality of the public health system by leaving health problems undetected and untreated, risking an increased prevalence of communicable diease in the general population. It should not be considered.

1862 Hannah TraceyIt is hard enough for those refused asylum to live on nothing, asking them to pay for their health care is one step too far in this un-empathic country.

1886 Rachel Belinda RyanI see too many desperate asylum seekers - specially those who have become pregnant in difficult circumstances and don't know their HIV status. We must help them, in common humanity.

1890 Katie WrightI am apalled by this suggestion which would already affect very vulnerable populations and breaches human rights conventions.
1891 John Carstensen
1892 Linda LonnqvistEveryone needs access to healthcare. Denyong undocumented persons NHS treatment would be a further gesture that the benefits of a civilised state are walled off from those who aren't lucky or rich enough to make it 'legal'. It's hard enough for people to live outside the papers barrier without this denial of basic care. Illness and disability make life a misery.
