Ebola is in the United States as we all know. With all the new cases of Ebola in the United States, isn't it time we speak up to keep our families and friends safe. This petition calls for the Goverment to keep travelers flying from West Africain in quarantine for 21 days. The incubation period, is, the time interval from infection with the virus to the onset of symptoms which is said to be2 to 21 days. If travelers are kept in quarantine for 21 days the chances of spreading this disease to others are greatly depreciated. Since we are told that they are no longer able to spread Ebola, after being symptom free for 21 days. Would'nt it be to our benefit that these travelers are confined to a area for 21 days in a safe location in West Africa until it is confirmed that they are truely Ebola free. I am a healthcare worker, but I am a mother and wife first.The last thing I want to do is bring Ebola home to my family. Think about what is important to you and sign this petition!
