Name: Sabine Raab on Apr 22, 2010Comments: As a medical doctor myself, I strongly believe in T. Colin Campbell's research and approach to our health. Enough patients have shown that a plant-based nutrition can increase health dramatically and sometimes even save their lives. I am eating an exclusively plant-based diet for almost 3 years now and I was strongly inspired by the Campbell's China Study. This has increased my quality of life and I am very thankful. Please continue Campbell's course about Vegetarian Nutrition as it is essential for everyone interested to have the opportunity to get informed from this amazingly knowledgeable source. I am intersted in signing up for the course myself. Kind regards, Sabine RaabFlag

Name: Susan Cerelli on Jun 9, 2010Comments: Rather than expose the pressures being exerted on Cornell by the dairy industry and their attendant hypocrisy, you chose instead to succumb (academic atrophy). In doing so, you exposed your own alarming absence of personal, academic and intellectual integrity. Perhaps you might still regain some measure of esteem by reinstating NS-200. Just a thought: for years, my husband and I have donated to the Baker Institute for Animal Health. We thought the integrity of Cornell was beyond reproach, alas...Flag

I am aboout to sign up for the certificate course and am curious about how true to Dr. Campbell's original course it will be. Please don't disappoint. Is it possible to have a course for the general public which is a bit less expensive? Disseminating this informaiton woould be made more easy/ less difficult.Flag

You should be honored to have Dr. Campbells expertise available. Cornell is doing a disservice to Americans by allowing the heavy hands to hold the bag.Flag

Name: Andrew Barmakian, Architect on Jun 23, 2010Comments: I wonder if the cattle or dairy industry is paying someone to do this dirty work. Do those in charge understand anything about why we are experiencing 2000 fatal heart attacks every day in the U.S.A. Aparently not. Dr. Colin Campbell should be a hero in the eyes of the public. He has brought a book about saving lives to the American public as well as to the people of the world. It is a shame how short sighted those that are in control at Conell's administrative level.can be. Dr. Colin Campbell's book, The China Study, will gain great respect in time as an acedemic masterpiece in the field of health. It must be about outside powers hoping to save the cattle and dairy industries. But then what about all the heart surgeons that will find their heart surgeries disappearing?Flag

Name: Dwayne Godley on Jul 7, 2010Comments: I am for academic freedom when it has been proven to be scientifically sound. Dr. Campbell's work on vegetarian nutrition is academically sound and should be restored or reinstated by Cornell University. The course NS200 - Vegetarian Nutrition should never have been removed by the committee without first consulting with Dr. Campbell and other concerned person(s). For an Ivy League institution to so do is not Ivy League behavior; it is underhanded, because an intelligent person would be upfront in discussing their reasons with anyother intelligent person of concern.Flag

It cannot be refuted the science Dr. Campbell teaches is benefical (and necessary) to improve people's health. His and other similar studies have been published in100's of peer-reviewed medical journals. To deny this course to students and the treatment of Dr. Campbell by Cornell University is unconscionable and does not portray Cornell University in a favorable manner.Flag

Been there and done that but persistence usually wins out as the perpetrator/s move into other positions. Personally, I am interested in finding a nutrition course for vegans especially one backed by scientific research and not associated with any for profit groups.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 26, 2010Comments: T Colin Campbell's work is too important to let fall by the wayside. Cornell University loses serious points for hushing up research that has and could continue to have far-reaching positive effects on the health of all people. Why, in a world--not to mention a community--that is changing so quickly and trying so hard to move toward healthier ways, would a school like Cornell simply cancel a class that is clearly so relevant to the lives of its students? It just doesn't make sense. Please reinstate "NS200 - Vegetarian Nutrition" in support of a healthier and happier human future.Flag
