Name: Chris Blechschmidt on Nov 24, 2003State: TNCountry: USComments: I was overbilled $1000 and they are treating me as if it's my fault. Also they say I renewed my contract for 2 years when I never agreed to it. Finally, incoming callers cannot hear me and have to call back 3-4 times before they can get through and AT&T has no answer for this problem.Flag

Name: Jason Smith on Nov 25, 2003State: TXCountry: USComments: I have been an att+t wireless customer for 6 momths and I have been lied to and frustrated the entire time. Their customer service takes over an hour to even pick up the phone and stop that sappy music. I was told that the extra minutes would roll over to the next month they dont. I was prommised that my range would be expanded within 2 weeks of my service being activated its been 6 months and no change. I was told my flat fee for my bill would be 49.99 but in reality it is 62.00. I can't access my online account because of som technical glitch in their system. What the hel am I supposed to do I have 6 more months on my program and I really want what I am paying for.Flag

Name: Jim Crosby on Dec 11, 2003State: CACountry: USComments: Since early 2003 my AT&T wireless service has become unusable. The GPRS access for which I pay a premium is frequently down with either no explaination or complete denial by AT&T. Their approach to tech support is to blame me or my phone, insist I reboot my phone even though I'd done that multiple time prior to calling, and then inform me they can not provide support unless I call from a land line! Considering the high frequency of unavailability of their service, I believe them to be in breach of contract.Flag

I have been slammed with contract renewals for just changing my phone number and was NOT informed of them. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone with ATT trying to fix my contract. They have renewed it for 2 years without my consent.Flag

Name: Kathrine Kelly on Dec 17, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: I switched to the GSM network and the sales rep that switched my plan did not switch it completely he forgot the additional 200 min therefore I was over billed 3 months I contacted costumer service they said they would credit and did not. this Happened every month for three months until finally I got to a sales resolution and they issued credit for the past three months but would not credit the current bill due to FCC regulations I work with FCC regulations all day I know them and she said that she was only liable to credit three months not the current bill... I tell them they need to cancel my service if they are going to send out a bill that they know is wrong. they cancel and then send me a bill with a cancellations fee I NEVER signed any contract nor did anyone disclose any info to me about a 1 year contract. I had 2 phones and they say the fee is $175 but yet on my bill it says 175$ per phone but the charge is $352 each phone at the end of the invoice totalling $704.89 that is absolutly ridiculous these people are crazy to think they can get away with charging a early cancelation fee when there was no disclosure that is very deceptive and I will not stand for it and even if it costs more money to take them to court I will do so because it is the princple that you will not take advantage of me and my MONEY I WORK HARD FORFlag

I (foolishly) requested ATT to make changes to my service over the phone and had no written explanation of them. I was under the impression that my revised plan included nationwide roaming an long distance. I found out too late that ATT didn't agree. i had to pay over $600 in fees and a cancellation charge URGGHHH!!@#$%!!Flag

Name: Edward Wang on Jan 10, 2004State: CACountry: USComments: Att steals, lies, and screws everything up. My account was charged for a full billing cycle, when I cancelled before the end of a billing period. However, AT&T claims that i cancelled 3 days after my next billing cycle begans. When I checked again when the cancellation forms were sent, the answer was 2 weeks before the end cycle. But what happened, greedy AT&T says the cancellation was not processed until after the next billing cycle and we were screwed into paying the month where supposedley, we had 3 dates to use. Hell, they billed us for the whole month rather than prorate. What was incredibly ridiculous, is that we cancelled early and they processed it 3 days later. Saying it was not their responsibilty. As to the expediency as how they process their forms.Flag

Name: Clarissa Jessup on Jan 18, 2004State: FLCountry: USComments: This past year AT&T has wrongfully charged me over 2000 dollars in roaming fees, for calls made within my coverage map. I upgraded a plan that was discontinued by AT&T to a plan that representatives told me was similar in the respects I wanted. Most of all my coverage area was included in the statewide plan but not the new plan they wanted to place me under. I told them I didn't want to resign if I was going to be charged roaming in my new Residence. AT&T cut a deal and promised I would not be charged roaming. Now they have reported my mother and I to a third party collection agency for the 2100 dollars and hope to permanently damage our credit. I am trying to find a class action lawsuit for similar roaming problems. AT&T has great disatisfied me.Flag
