There is a family that lives in Blacksburg S.C. that is in desperate need of a home makeover due to the fact that they are an older couple ages 58 and 52 caring for three young kids in a house that was only two bedrooms until they turned the dining area into a third bedroom. The lady of the house has had a stroke and has no use of her left arm and limited use of her left leg. She has also suffered from kidney failure and has to have dialysis three times a week. They cannot afford to be put on a waiting list for a kidney transplant. The man of the house is not able to do much work due to back and knee problems. He has not seen a doctor because he does not have insurance. The kids that are living with them are their grand children ages 13, 9, and 7 (two boys and a girl). The kids mother is not in the picture because she has chose not to be. These people do everything they can to take care of these kids although it is a struggle everyday of their lives. It is a struggle to insure that food is on the table and it is a struggle to even get through daily chores due to the health issues. Their house is in need of a makeover due to the fact there is much work that needs to be done. The kitchen ceiling has broken tiles, the oven does not work, they had to turn their closet into a laundry room because it was in the basements and stairs are a definite challenge for them, and they had to turn their dining room into a room for the girl. The outside needs a lot of work and we are not sure if the structure of the home is even safe. If Ty was able to see that house he would be there NOW!
